Science is fun

          Every month of September, we are celebrating the Science month and this year's theme"Science for the People: Liberating Education, Through Innovations" It is one of the most awaited event of the students especially us students of Ilocos Sur National High School. Beacuse we know it will be a lot of fun and activities. 

          Science is one of the hardest subject. It is really hard to study Science because it's like a tree that has a lot of brunches and twigs. But what makes it very interesting and enjoyable was the experiments. And it is always in the list of activities every year. A lot of experiments and Science tricks. In this science experiments our minds are lead to be curious, we experienced how to observe, we get to do a hands-on try on the experiment, and we formulated our own answers (hypothesis) to the question based on the result of their experiment. A real Scientists in the making indeed. There is also a lot of contests that everyone can join. To those good at arts, there's the poster making contest. For the writers, the essay making contest. There is a also the Sci-Jingle contest. There is also a contest for the photographers. And to those who have creative minds, there's the Toy Making Contest. A lot more programs and activities that suits your skills. So you aren't just enjoying and having fun but also learning. That was the real meaning of Science. Learning by having fun. 

          Science may seem really hard but if you'll understand what it's really teaching to us, a lot of ideas is popping to your mind. And by that you can create a lot of things just like a scientist. You'll getting more curious about things and then you'll find yourself digging it. And for that you are learning and discovering new things everyday.

Wikang Filipino; Wika ng Saliksik

Sabi nila walang permanente sa mundo. Maraming pwedeng mawala at magbago. Maraming pwedeng magbago at maaring hindi na maibalik pa. Pero huwag sana nating hayaang ang wikang kinagisnan at kinalakihan natin ang magbago. Mga kabataan ngayon ay madami ng alam. Maraming mga salitang nabubuo sakanilang isipan. Binabaliktad ang mga salita, hinahaloan ng mga wikang Kano, salitang jejemon,mga balbal at pati lenggwahe ng mga baklang bekimon ay ginagaya.Ano pang halaga ng sarili nating wika? Kung gumagawa tayo ng iba at hindi ito ginagamit sa tama. Kung nais natin ay pagbabago, gamitin natin ang wikang mapagbago, wikang Filipino. Independence Day: Must Remember

Before a caterpillar become a beautiful butterfly that flies freely, it needs to get out to a cocoon first. Just like how Filipinos before fight for our country to get out from the hands of the people who invaded and colonized Philippines. We owe our freedom to the untold number of Filipinos and soldiers who have fought and sacrificed their lives for our country. They fought to end the sufferings of the Filipinos who become slave because of the cruel Spaniards and other people who colonized Philippines. They were the true heroes. Because without them we might still suffering until now. We might still imprisoned and still inside a cocoon. That's why we need to celebrate the "Independence Day". To honor and remember their heroism. You can also be a hero like them. Because you don't need to have a power to be called one. Just love your own country and fight for it even if it cost your life.
