Harvest Healthy Life

Every month of July, we are celebrating Nutrition Month. This is to remind and teach us how to become and stay a healthy person and also to maintain a healthy body. To protect us from malnutrition and many kind of diseases. And this year's theme is "Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin". And NNC said that this aims to stress the importance of food gardening among Filipino families and aims to contribute to improved food and nutrition security by increasing access to a diversified source of food for families and communities alike,as well as improved incomes through sales from home-grown products.

There is an old saying, "Health is Wealth". It means we should take care of it because we only live once. That's why they also say live life to the fullest. But we should have a healthy body that not merely the absence of disease so that we can enjoy our lives. And good health is also a secret of every happy man. And in order to maintain and achieve a healthy body and good health we should have a healthy diet. Let's eat nutritious foods. We all know that fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins which our body needs. So we should prefer eating fruits and vegetables than eating junk foods, oily foods, fast foods and drinking soft drinks. And it is more delicious when it is freshly harvested. That's why we should practice planting fruits and vegetables in our backyard. So that we can gain nutrients and good health. And it is also more safety because we don't know if the foods we are buying from markets are not using chemicals in farming and it can be also a source of income. So we must practice planting fruits and vegetables in our backyard.

Let's plant and harvest a healthy body, healthy life and a healthy future.
